New Ltd Ed High Fash Pack

Recently I have been working on a set of limited edition high fashion paper dolls featuring a Jessica Stam, Jourdan Dunn, Gemma Ward and Erin Wasson. You'll be able to cut out iconic pieces by Marc Jacobs, Louis Vuitton, Balmain to name but a few. Everything in this one has been lovingly painted in gouache and when finished it will be presented in a special limited edition bow-tied box, each one numbered and signed by myself. Still have lots to do on them yet and the packaging will take just as much work but can't wait until they're finished. I want these to be super special though so am only going to produce 150 of them (so if you really really want one, let me know so as not to be disappointed).

THE BADGE PROJECT

I LOVE MEL... DO YOU?

MY NARCISSISM AND HOW IT ALL STARTED
Sometime last year, shortly after I was dumped, I felt sorry for myself. I felt like no one loved me and so I had some badges made and gave them to people. To see people wearing I LOVE MEL badges made me feel better... so I had some more made... and then some more... I ended up spending a fortune on badges and this January I made it my New Year's resolution to spend less money on badges in 2008 than I did in 2007. However, I have never stuck to a New Year's resolution yet and don't see why I should start now.




I LOVE MEL has evolved into somewhat of a brand now, an umbrella under which all my works hides, and SO if people will still have my badges, i'll still send them. There's a catch though, if you want me to send you a badge (and so far I have sent them to all corners of the globe) I demand a photo of you wearing it. I will then collate all these photos of people showing their love all over the world and do something with them, a book, or a tea towel, who knows, but something will become of all that money spent on little pink badges if it kills me!

1000 PLEASES & 1000 THANK YOUS

1000 PLEASES and 1000 THANK YOUS have been worked on, developed, slaved over, and are now proper liggit products. It comes in a pack that contains the 1000 PLEASES/THANK YOUS book and postage envelope.

The idea is simple. You buy 1000 PLEASES. you fill in the recipient's name in the front, you fill in the back, asking for what you want, for example, a loan, a lift to the airport, a surrogate to give birth to your child... what ever.

The recipient open's it.
Reads it.
Is delighted.
Does what you want.
Your dreams have come true.

HERE'S SOME I COLOURED IN EARLIER

Whilst making the images for my range of Colour Me Good coluring books, I couldn't resist doing a spot of product testing and have a bit of a colour-in myself. It is one of the most relaxing past-times ever and I was pleased with the results. They're all coloured in A5 but look pretty cool blown up large as prints (anyone interested, let me know). There may even be a Here's Some I Coloured In Earlier signed limited edition book and exhibition sometime soon. I'll keep you informed.
